Cash goes directly to the therapist. Place it in an envelope or hand it personally after your session. Many spas provide tip envelopes at the front desk.
✅ Tip on the Full Price (Not Discounts)
If you used a Groupon, gift card, or membership discount, tip on the original session price — not the discounted amount. The therapist did the same work.
❌ Don't Tip the Spa Owner
If the massage therapist owns the practice, tipping is optional. They set their own prices and keep all revenue. A thank-you note or online review is equally valued.
